About Peggy
Peggy
Floyd has spent the last 25 years helping families find the right place
to live. Fifteen years of this time was spent in continuing care
retirement communities as Sales and Marketing Director, where she
worked with senior adults and their families in making the decision
about whether or not to leave their homes to move to retirement
communities. Understanding this process and seeing the need for a
Realtor who could be sensitive to the needs of those making this type
of move lead Peggy to her current real estate business. She enjoys
working with retirees as they make the move to the area, or are moving
to another type of living, and has the support network necessary to
help with the home sale when the family needs to focus on their loved
ones---not a house.
Peggy
also enjoys the excitement of working with first time home buyers
too---she loves to see someone find a home that they are excited about,
then help them make it their home. She enjoys getting to know her
clients and their children, feeling that this helps her find the right
house and home for them.
Peggy
also worked in educational fund raising and admissions, and in
banking. A graduate of North Carolina State University in Sociology,
she enjoys working within groups and learning about all with whom she
works. She enjoys sports, especially watching and participating with
her family, cooking, time with friends, and walking her dog. She is a
member of Brownson United Memorial Presbyterian Church in Southern
Pines, on the Board of the Pinehurst Southern Pines Area Association of
Realtors, and a member of the Moore County Area Chamber of Commerce.
She has lived in Moore County for 9 years, having moved here from
nearby Scotland County.
